Wolf Park’s Fourth Annual Walk for Wolves
September 15, 9:00 am-1:00 pm
Join Chairman Jeff Smith (T.V. 18), emcee Brittany Rayburn (local star), and entertainer Scott Greeson (local celebrity), for Wolf Park’s 4th annual Walk for Wolves fundraiser September 15th at 9:00 am! Participants will form packs and collect donations, and then on the big day come out and walk laps around the loop trail at Wolf Park. One of our resident wolves will lead the first lap! For the rest of the morning walkers will stroll around this beautiful, unique park, seeing the wolves, foxes, coyotes and bison up close and personal — right here at Wolf Park. Silly Safaris will have a show featuring some live animals and if you want lunch from one of our local venues the cost is $5! There are plenty of prizes to give away and an auction, so please plan to join us for local entertainment and lots of fun for a great cause! Sign your pack of one to five members up today online at www.wolfpark.org!
If you don’t live close by or simply have no desire to walk — no problem! Help keep Wolf Park’s founder Dr. Klinghammer’s vision to preserve wild places for wolves across North America alive by sending a donation or forming a pack and collecting donations today! That way you can feel good about supporting Wolf Park! All donations help make sure our ambassador wolves educate the public about endangered species, conservation, and the role of predators in our environment. Donations are fully tax deductible!
Every participating walker will get a Walk for Wolves t-shirt if registered by August 15th, and your pack will have a chance to win fabulous prizes. “Virtual” participants can help too by supporting the Puppy Pack (Wolf Park’s home pack)! If your registered pack collects $1000 in donations excluding the registration fees then your pack will get a chance to meet a wolf up close and personal and will be entered in a drawing for a Wolf Park Getaway Weekend for two compliments of the Best Western Hotel, Hour Time Restaurant, and Wolf Park!!
All participating walkers that come out on the day of the event will receive FREE ADMISSION to Wolf Park for the remainder of the day, including our open hours from 1:00-5:00 pm and that night’s Howl Night from 7:30-9:00 pm!
