Come out and enjoy classical music under the open sky—stay to howl with the wolves!
For the first time ever, Wolf Park is partnering with the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra for a special outdoor performance! The orchestra is being represented by a string quartet which will perform next to the wolves. Will the wolves ‘sing’ along? You have to be here to find out!
We will also offer our usual Howl Night program, but it will be in two parts, with the music in between. Come for the whole night, or just a little while. There is something for everyone at this special evening’s event.
The string quartet will be playing the music of “Wolf”gang Amadeus Mozart and other classical favorites. This talented ensemble includes violinists Karen Isaacs and Michelle Brooks, violist Michael Dunn, and cellist Sara Wollan.
Bring along your own chairs or blankets to enjoy the performance, then move to the grand stand to see the wolves in their habitat. Finish the evening with a stroll
around the park— a flashlight might be in order this month! Enjoy some fresh popped corn, or your own sticky marshmallow roasted on a campfire.
This special evening is all included in the regular price of admission — $7 for adults, $5 for children 6-13, little kids and Wolf Park members FREE.
