Come out and enjoy classical music under the open sky—stay afterward to howl with the wolves!
Saturday, June 8, 2013
For the third year in a row, Wolf Park is partnering with the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra for a special outdoor performance! The LSO is being represented by a string quartet which will perform the music of Mozart and other classical favorites. Will the wolves “sing” along? You will have to be here to find out!
We will also offer our usual Howl Night program, but it will be in two parts, with the music in between. Come for the whole night, or just a little while. There is something for everyone at this special evening’s event.
Bring along your own chairs or blankets to enjoy the performance, then move to the grand stand to see the wolves in their habitat. Finish the evening with a stroll around the park— a flashlight might be in order! Enjoy some fresh popped corn for only $1, or your own sticky marshmallow roasted over a campfire.
For more information call the office at (765) 567-2265 weekdays from 9am to 5pm.
This special evening is all included in the regular price of admission — $8 adults, $6 children 6-13, 0-5 free.
